How to Downgrade iOS 6 GM to 5.1.1:

Step 1: Download iOS 5.1.1 and Download iTunes 10.7.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iTouch with your PC via USB and open iTunes 10.7.

Step 3: Select your iDevice from the left sidebar on iTunes, then hold down (Shift for Window) or (alt on Mac) and click on the ‘restore’ button, then point it to iOS 5.1.1 ipsw firmware file.

Step 4: Well Done! You have just downgraded iOS 6 GM to iOS 5.1.1.

    Hey all
    I’ve upgraded to 6.0 via iTunes.
    A lot of tweaks don’t work, so I want to downgrade, but when I try do downgrade to 5.1.1 (with shsh stitched via redsn0w) it gives me error 3194..
    My iPod touch 4g is in dfu mode and it doesn’t work.. Am I stuck with ios 6? :s
