Even way before Apple releases its iOS 6 beta version for developers in May, we’ve been having all kinds of rumors regarding the new iPhone 5’s shape, size, type of display and processor and even rumors arguing as to when it should be released and whether it will find a place near the iOS 6 firmware. However, it’s absolutely intruiging when we hear that some sources like KnowYourMobile go with the rumors that say Apple will release its iPhone 5 as soon as August 7th! Especially when a trusted source like Jim Dalrymple, who’s well known to have extra good connections with Apple, replies to these rumors with one word: “Nope”.
In fact, as much as these rumors seem ridiculous to some of us, it seems that they make no sense whatsoever to The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple. After all, who would believe that Apple will haste with releasing its new product even though most iPhone customers won’t have even passed the 2 years contract with their carriers. Also, if you think about from another view, most carriers offer an upgrade option for your mobile phone only after 12 months hence, if Apple released its iPhone 5 on August 7th just like the rumors say, most of the recent iPhone owners will already have to wait 2 months until they’re able to upgrade to Apple’s latest product.
So the question now is, why would Apple risk losing the iPhone 5’s being the hero of the year?
Maybe we’re all thinking differently, anyhow, when it comes to what goes around in Apple’s mind we all know that rumors and side talks make no value. Let’s share our minds too in the comments section below.
